Feeling empty inside makes us feel sad, lonely, and depressed. This feeling can come in many ways; losing a loved one, a break-up, or just because.. I remember feeling empty before finding my purpose in life. Also, on some occasions; I felt empty due to breakups, not being around my family and not having a best friend. My grandma has always been my best friend but I wanted someone my own age…My relationship with my sisters and brothers is not how I wanted to be, but I learned with time; that You are your own best-friend <3
Here are 3 tips that helped me to Stop feeling empty inside:
- Acknowledge: recognize the emptiness inside of you. Treat your emptiness with love and kindness. This will alleviate the pain and even though it will not solve the matter right away. You will have a different perception on how to handle the situations.
- Time: Spending time with yourself is important bc you may think you are alone but You are your best friend and HERO <3 Spending time with yourself helps you learn more about you and doing positive activities will enhance your spirit to shine! We tend to fill our void with drugs, toxic relationships, TV, social media or buy things. Those things are temporary and Not long lasting… Get out and explore your own desires in a positive and healthy way!
- Keep a journal: This one has made a big impact in my life! because keeping a journal helps you track your thoughts and emotions. You become free and loud in your words. No judgment involved; just you and your journal.
Beautiful, remember that it is a process and these tips are meant to be done on a daily basis because we need to train our mind 🙂 so we can have control of our feelings and have a happy path!
