Hey, my beautiful souls, it’s no secret that I love food and have no problem eating throughout the day 🙂 For those who watch my Instagram stories; know what I’m talking about LOL One of the many things; I do to maintain my weight; is to drink cucumber water; 30 minutes before I drink or eat anything in the mornings because this helps you increase your metabolism and detox your body.
Cucumbers have been around for centuries and they’re Not just for weight loss. They have so many benefits, for instance: it helps you keep hydrated, reduces bad breath, it’s really good for your skin and bones; reduces the risk of certain types of cancer; improves brain & heart health. Also, it’s extremely good for your skin against aging. Overall, there are many good reasons for you to make cucumber water a habit 🙂
How to make Cucumber Water:
Making cucumber water is pretty simple:
- Slice a cleaned, peeled (or unpeeled depending on your preference) cucumber into 1/2 inch slices.
- Combine cucumber slices in water, and put it in a blender. (For best results, make sure you drink it fresh during the morning or right before you go to bed).
- Feel free to add any lemon or mint for an extra natural flavor.
